Job Summary :
We are looking for an experienced Infrastructure & VDI Engineer with strong expertise in AWS Cloud, Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI), and Windows-based environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, automating, deploying, and managing scalable VDI solutions, infrastructure automation pipelines, and secure Windows environments in the cloud.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, deploy, and manage VDI solutions on AWS, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.
- Build and maintain automated AMI build pipelines using Packer, integrated with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions.
- Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and Ansible.
- Administer and optimize remote desktop and visualization protocols, including AWS DCV, HP Remote Boost, PCoIP, and HDX.
- Manage and support Windows Server and Desktop environments, including patching, hardening, and performance tuning.
- Configure and maintain (Azure) Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and other core Windows services.
- Implement and manage Windows profile and user data solutions such as FSLogix and OneDrive.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell, Python (3.x), and Bash.
- Collaborate with security, networking, and application teams to ensure compliance with best practices and organizational standards.
- Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and VDI-related issues and provide root cause analysis.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and architecture diagrams.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
- Strong hands-on experience with VDI technologies and AWS Cloud infrastructure.
- Proven experience with IaC tools: Terraform, Ansible, Packer, GitHub Actions.
- Expertise in building and maintaining automated AMI pipelines.
- Solid understanding of remote desktop/graphics protocols (AWS DCV, PCoIP, HDX, HP Remote Boost).
- Strong expertise in Windows administration and Active Directory services.
- Experience with FSLogix, OneDrive, and Windows profile management.
- Proficiency in PowerShell, Python, and Bash scripting.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to Have :
- Experience with Azure AD integration and hybrid environments.
- Knowledge of security best practices for Windows and cloud infrastructure.
- Exposure to monitoring and logging tools in AWS.
- Experience supporting large-scale enterprise environments
