About the Role :

We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Consultant with strong expertise in SAP development, customization, and technical implementation.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in ABAP RICEF development, SAP S/4HANA implementations, and modern SAP technologies such as ABAP on HANA, CDS Views, and AMDP.

This role requires close collaboration with functional consultants, business stakeholders, and technical teams to develop scalable SAP solutions, support implementation projects, and optimize business processes across SAP landscapes.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, test, and deploy custom SAP ABAP solutions.

- Work extensively on RICEF objects :

i. Reports

ii. Interfaces

iii. Conversions

iv. Enhancements

v. Forms

- Develop and enhance classical and interactive reports, ALV reports, and custom programs.

- Build and modify user exits, customer exits, BADIs, enhancement points, and implicit enhancements.

- Develop solutions using ABAP on HANA principles.

- Build and optimize CDS Views for data modeling and reporting.

- Develop AMDP (ABAP Managed Database Procedures) for performance-intensive scenarios.

- Optimize existing custom code for S/4HANA compatibility and performance.

- Support S/4HANA migration readiness assessments and remediation activities.

- Participate in end-to-end SAP implementation projects.

- Support business blueprinting, technical design, development, testing, and deployment.

- Collaborate with functional teams to understand business requirements and convert them into technical solutions.

- Prepare technical specifications based on functional requirements.

- Support post-go-live stabilization and production support activities.

- Develop and support integrations using :

i. Web Services

ii. RFC/BAPI

iii. IDocs

iv. OData Services

- Build interface programs for third-party system integrations.

- Troubleshoot integration issues and interface failures.

UI & Workflow Development :

- Develop and support applications using :

i. SAP Fiori

ii. OData Services

iii. Web Dynpro ABAP

iv. SAP Workflow

- Support UI enhancements and modern SAP application development.

- Support S/4HANA upgrade and migration projects.

- Perform custom code remediation and compatibility checks.

- Analyze technical impacts of upgrades and propose optimization solutions.

- Prepare technical design documents, code documentation, and deployment guides.

- Perform unit testing, code reviews, and defect resolution.

- Ensure adherence to SAP development standards and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 5+ years of experience in SAP ABAP development.

- Strong hands-on experience in ABAP RICEF development.

- Minimum 1 full lifecycle SAP implementation experience.

- Strong knowledge of :

i. ABAP on HANA

ii. CDS Views

iii. AMDP

- Experience with SAP enhancements, forms, reports, interfaces, and conversions.

- Experience in debugging and performance tuning of ABAP programs.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
