We are hiring for our client into Design and Development for Infra Azure Stack HCI + Azure Local Engineer to deliver customer-facing implementations and support in enterprise environments.

This role requires deep expertise across compute, storage, networking, Azure Arc, and hybrid operations, with hands-on delivery experience in partner or managed services models.

Location : Mumbai.

Travel : Up to 75%.

Responsibilities :

Azure Stack HCI / Azure Local :

- Design, deploy, expand, upgrade, and decommission environments (21H2, 22H2, 23H2+).

- Manage Azure subscription registration, licensing, billing, and Arc dependencies.

- Work with validated OEM hardware (Dell, HPE, Lenovo, Cisco).

- Perform lifecycle management, cluster-aware updating, and in-place upgrades.

Compute & Virtualization :

- Expertise in Hyper- V VM provisioning, tuning, and HA.

- Support Windows/Linux workloads, GPU enablement (GPU-P, DDA), and AVD architectures.

Storage & Data Services :

- Hands-on with Storage Spaces Direct (S2D), cache/capacity tiering, NVMe/SSD/HDD design.

- Disaster recovery with Storage Replica and stretch clusters.

Networking :

- Advanced knowledge of RDMA, SMB Direct, QoS.

- Host networking design (SET, VLANs, Jumbo Frames).

- Troubleshoot latency, throughput, and packet loss issues.

Azure Arc & Hybrid Management :

- Onboard/manage Arc Resource Bridge, VM management, and extensions.

- Integrate with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Policy.

- Implement RBAC and governance models.

Security & Identity :

- Configure Secure Boot, TPM, BitLocker, Shielded VMs.

- Apply security baselines and hybrid identity with Microsoft Entra ID.

- Integrate Defender for Cloud.

Kubernetes & Modern Workloads :

- Deploy and operate AKS on Azure Stack HCI.

- Manage Arc-enabled Kubernetes and GitOps workflows.

Monitoring & Support :

- Set up observability with Azure Monitor and Log Analytics.

- Provide L2/L3 troubleshooting across compute, storage, and networking.

- Handle escalations and break/fix scenarios.

Automation & Delivery Enablement :

- Strong PowerShell scripting for deployment and operations.

- Apply CI/CD concepts to infrastructure.

- Standardize deployments with repeatable patterns.

Candidate Profile :

- Proven track record in end-to-end Azure Stack HCI delivery.

- Strong troubleshooting and customer-facing skills.

- Experience in partner delivery, managed services, or MSP environments.
