InfoVision - Senior Automation Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities :

Core functions :

- Operating the test framework to ensure delivery quality.

- Definition of test planning and approaches.

- Development of manual test cases and execution.

- Automation script development and execution.

- Support delivery conversations on testing progress.

- Supporting release deployment through environments.

This position requires the following technical skills :

Essential :

- Testing of Cloud hosted applications and customer facing applications.

- Payments industry experience desirable but not essential.

- Thorough understanding of SDLC.

- Excellent technical skills including SQL, and troubleshooting abilities.

- Nodejs/javascript experience or other relevant language.

- Extensive API test experience.

- Web automation testing experience is a plus.

- Understanding of Gitlab / Github.

- Great communication - and team player.

- Tertiary qualification in a related field.

Desirable :

- Experience of projects within the retail petroleum automation sector /payments systems.

Critical Skills to Possess :

Purpose : To validate and verify new features developed on the Cloud Services platform (ICS) and regression testing existing capability to ensure our high standards of product quality are maintained for our internal and external customers.
