About the Role :

We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect to lead the design of scalable, secure, and reliable technology solutions. The role will be responsible for translating business and functional requirements into comprehensive solution architectures and working closely with engineering, product, security, infrastructure, and business teams to drive successful implementation.

Key Responsibilities :

- Own the overall solution architecture and technical design for complex business and technology initiatives.

- Translate business requirements and functional needs into scalable and maintainable technical solutions.

- Define architecture principles, technology standards, design patterns, and solution frameworks.

- Develop high-level and low-level architecture designs, system flows, integration patterns, and technical documentation.

- Evaluate existing systems and identify opportunities for modernization, optimization, and improved scalability.

- Design solutions that address performance, availability, scalability, security, reliability, and maintainability requirements.

- Work closely with product managers, business stakeholders, engineering teams, and technical leads to understand requirements and define appropriate solutions.

- Review technical designs and provide architectural guidance throughout the development lifecycle.

- Identify technical risks, dependencies, constraints, and potential bottlenecks and develop appropriate mitigation strategies.

- Evaluate technology choices, frameworks, platforms, and third-party solutions based on business and technical requirements.

- Define integration strategies across applications, platforms, databases, and external systems.

- Ensure solutions adhere to enterprise architecture, security, governance, and compliance standards.

- Participate in architecture reviews, design walkthroughs, and technical decision-making forums.

- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering and development teams.

- Support teams during implementation by resolving complex architectural and technical challenges.

- Drive proof-of-concepts and technical evaluations for new technologies and solution approaches.

- Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, security, DevOps, and engineering teams to ensure end-to-end solution alignment.

- Maintain architecture documentation, technical decisions, and solution design artifacts.

Required Skills :

- 14 - 18 years of experience in software engineering, architecture, solution design, or related technology roles.

- Strong experience designing enterprise-scale applications and technology solutions.

- Excellent understanding of architecture principles, design patterns, distributed systems, and scalable application design.

- Strong experience in API, application, system, and platform integration.

- Experience with cloud architecture and modern technology ecosystems.

- Strong understanding of databases, messaging systems, caching, networking, and system performance.

- Good understanding of application security, identity, access management, and enterprise security principles.

- Experience working with Agile development teams and modern software delivery practices.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.

- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Experience providing technical leadership and mentoring senior engineering teams.

- Strong documentation and architecture governance skills
