Job Description :

We are seeking a skilled PLM Windchill Senior Developer to develop, configure, customize, and support enterprise PLM applications using PTC Windchill.

The role will focus on hands-on development, workflow configuration, business process implementation, integrations, issue resolution, and enhancement of Windchill-based product development solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and customize PTC Windchill applications based on defined business and functional requirements.

- Configure and enhance Windchill PDMLink and support related modules such as ProjectLink and MPMLink.

- Design and implement Windchill workflows, lifecycle states, team structures, roles, and business rules.

- Configure and customize Product Data Management, Document Management, Change Management, and Configuration Management processes.

- Develop Windchill customizations using Java and Windchill development frameworks.

- Build and maintain integrations between Windchill and enterprise applications including ERP, SAP, MES, and CRM systems.

- Develop REST/SOAP-based interfaces and support data exchange between Windchill and external applications.

- Create custom reports, utilities, queries, and dashboards to support engineering and business teams.

- Perform data loading, migration, validation, and transformation activities within Windchill environments.

- Investigate application defects, integration failures, and production issues and implement appropriate fixes.

- Support application deployments, testing, release activities, and post-production validation.

- Participate in Windchill upgrades, migrations, configuration changes, and environment maintenance.

- Work with functional consultants and business users to understand requirements and convert them into technical solutions.

- Prepare technical specifications, development documentation, test cases, and deployment documentation.

- Perform unit testing and support integration, regression, and user acceptance testing.

- Identify opportunities to improve application functionality, reliability, and maintainability.

- Collaborate with senior technical leads and architects on complex development and integration requirements.

Required Skills :

- 6+ years of experience in PLM development with significant hands-on experience in PTC Windchill.

- Strong experience with Windchill PDMLink and exposure to ProjectLink and/or MPMLink.

- Hands-on experience in Windchill customization, configuration, workflows, and lifecycle management.

- Good understanding of Change Management, Document Management, Product Data Management, and Configuration Management.

- Strong Java programming and object-oriented development skills.

- Experience working with Windchill APIs and customization frameworks.

- Experience developing integrations using REST, SOAP, web services, or similar technologies.

- Exposure to integrating Windchill with SAP, ERP, MES, CRM, or other enterprise applications.

- Experience with data migration, data loading, troubleshooting, and application support.

- Good understanding of PLM processes and engineering/product development workflows.

- Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

- Ability to work independently on development and enhancement assignments.

- Good communication and collaboration skills.
