Job Description

Company Overview :

Infosys Limited is a global leader in next-generation digital services and consulting. With over four decades of experience in managing the systems and workings of global enterprises, the company steers clients through their digital transformation journeys. Operating across more than 50 countries, Infosys enables businesses to navigate their digital evolution by leveraging AI-powered core, agile digital scale, and a deep commitment to learning and innovation. The organization serves a diverse portfolio of industries, including financial services, retail, communications, and manufacturing, maintaining a massive global footprint that impacts millions of end-users daily.

Role Overview :

As a Principal Technologist for Zero Trust and AI Security, you will serve as a high-level strategic advisor and technical architect, shaping the security posture for large-scale enterprise environments. You will bridge the gap between complex security requirements and business objectives, working closely with global clients, internal engineering teams, and executive stakeholders.

Your day-to-day involves designing robust security frameworks that integrate Zero Trust principles with emerging AI-driven threat detection, ensuring that security scales alongside rapid digital transformation. This role is pivotal in safeguarding critical infrastructure, influencing organizational security culture, and driving the adoption of resilient, future-proof security architectures.

Key Responsibilities :

- Architect and implement comprehensive Zero Trust frameworks to secure distributed enterprise environments against sophisticated threat vectors.

- Integrate Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning models into security operations to automate threat hunting, anomaly detection, and incident response.

- Lead the design of identity-centric security models, ensuring seamless and secure access management across hybrid and multi-cloud infrastructures.

- Oversee the implementation of advanced data security and privacy controls to ensure continuous compliance with global regulatory standards.

- Collaborate with C-suite stakeholders to align security risk management strategies with long-term business growth and digital transformation goals.

- Mentor senior technical teams and provide thought leadership on emerging security technologies to maintain a competitive edge in the cybersecurity landscape.

- Evaluate and optimize network security architectures to eliminate perimeter-based vulnerabilities and enforce granular access policies.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in designing and deploying end-to-end Zero Trust architectures within large-scale, complex enterprise ecosystems.

- Proven ability to leverage AI and analytics to enhance security operations, including the development of predictive risk models and automated compliance monitoring.

- Strong command over identity and access management (IAM) protocols, network security, and data protection strategies in cloud-native environments.

- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate highly technical security risks into actionable business insights for non-technical leadership.

- Extensive experience in managing enterprise-wide security risk and compliance frameworks, ensuring alignment with international standards and local regulations.

- Ability to thrive in a hybrid work environment, coordinating effectively with geographically dispersed teams and global client organizations.

- Architect security solutions across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud environments.

- Design secure cloud-native architectures leveraging Kubernetes, containers, serverless platforms, and service meshes.

- Implement cloud security controls aligned with Zero Trust principles, including workload protection, API security, secrets management, and encryption.

AI, GenAI & Agentic Security :

- Define security architectures for AI/ML and GenAI platforms.

- Implement controls to secure model access, training datasets, embeddings, vector databases, prompts, and inference workflows.

- Design governance frameworks for autonomous AI agents, agent-to-agent interactions, and AI orchestration platforms.

- Address emerging AI risks including prompt injection, data leakage, model abuse, adversarial attacks, and unauthorized access.

Education :

- A Masters degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field, complemented by 15-24 years of progressive experience in the security domain.

- Strong interpersonal skills, characterized by the ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive consensus on complex architectural decisions.
