Role Overview :

We are looking for an experienced Mobile Automation Test Engineer with strong expertise in testing mobile applications across Android and iOS platforms. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test suites to ensure the quality, reliability, performance, and usability of mobile applications.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and develop automated test frameworks for Android and iOS applications.

- Create, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for mobile applications.

- Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, sanity, and end-to-end testing.

- Test mobile applications across different devices, OS versions, screen sizes, and network conditions.

- Identify, document, track, and validate defects throughout the testing lifecycle.

- Integrate mobile automation suites with CI/CD pipelines.

- Analyze automation failures and troubleshoot application and test-framework issues.

- Perform API validation as part of mobile application testing.

- Work closely with developers, product managers, business analysts, and QA teams.

- Participate in test planning, estimation, test-case reviews, and release validation.

- Develop reusable automation components and improve test coverage.

- Maintain test documentation, execution reports, and defect metrics.

- Support production validation and release testing.

- Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and automation frameworks.

Required Skills :

- 5 - 10 years of experience in software testing.

- Strong hands-on experience in mobile application testing.

- Experience with Android and iOS application testing.

- Strong experience with Appium or equivalent mobile automation frameworks.

- Programming experience in Java, JavaScript, Python, or similar languages.

- Experience with Selenium is preferred.

- Good understanding of mobile application architecture.

- Experience testing REST APIs using tools such as Postman or similar.

- Experience with Git and CI/CD tools.

- Knowledge of device farms such as BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, or similar platforms.

- Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC.

- Good defect-management and troubleshooting skills.

- Strong communication and analytical skills.
