We are looking for an experienced PLM Windchill Lead Developer to drive the design, development, customization, integration, and technical delivery of enterprise PLM solutions using PTC Windchill. The role will involve leading complex Windchill implementations, defining technical approaches, mentoring developers, and working closely with business, functional, and architecture teams to deliver scalable product lifecycle solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the technical design and development of PTC Windchill solutions for complex enterprise PLM requirements.

- Design and implement customizations across Windchill PDMLink, ProjectLink, MPMLink, and related modules.

- Develop and enhance Windchill workflows, lifecycle templates, access controls, business rules, and object models.

- Lead the implementation of Change Management, Configuration Management, Document Management, and Product Data Management processes.

- Design and develop integrations between Windchill and enterprise applications such as SAP, ERP, MES, CRM, and other downstream systems.

- Define integration architecture, data exchange mechanisms, and interface specifications for PLM integrations.

- Lead data migration activities, including data mapping, transformation, validation, and migration utilities.

- Develop custom reports, dashboards, utilities, and extensions based on business requirements.

- Analyze complex production issues and provide root-cause analysis and permanent technical solutions.

- Drive performance tuning, scalability improvements, and optimization of Windchill applications.

- Participate in Windchill version upgrades, system migrations, patching, and technical modernization initiatives.

- Work with solution architects and functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

- Review technical designs and code developed by team members to ensure quality and adherence to standards.

- Mentor junior and mid-level Windchill developers and provide technical guidance.

- Coordinate with stakeholders across engineering, manufacturing, IT, and business functions for successful solution delivery.

- Contribute to technical documentation, deployment procedures, coding standards, and implementation best practices.

Required Skills :

- 10 - 12 years of experience in PLM development with strong expertise in PTC Windchill.

- Strong hands-on experience with Windchill customization and development.

- Expertise in Windchill PDMLink and strong understanding of ProjectLink/MPMLink.

- Strong knowledge of Windchill workflows, lifecycle management, object types, access control, and business rules.

- Experience with Change Management, Configuration Management, Product Data Management, and Document Management.

- Strong experience in Windchill integrations with SAP, ERP, MES, CRM, or other enterprise applications.

- Good understanding of Java and object-oriented programming concepts.

- Experience with Windchill APIs, customization frameworks, REST/SOAP-based integrations, and web services.

- Experience in data migration, system upgrades, and performance optimization.

- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

- Ability to lead technical discussions and guide development teams.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
