Infosys Center for Emerging Technology Solutions (iCETS) focuses on incubation of NextGen services and offerings by identifying and building technology capabilities to accelerate innovation. The current areas of incubation include AI & ML, Blockchain, Computer Vision, Conversational interfaces, AR-VR, Deep Learning, Advanced analytics using video, speech, text and much more.

About the Role :

Emerging tech specialist will have key skills and expertise in emerging technologies identified for the Applied Research centers - like Advanced AI, AR/VR, HCI, Privacy, cybersecurity, Robotics, spatial computing, and so on. Will architect, design and develop Emerging Tech solutions to build proof of values and work on moon shot projects. Identify repeatable patterns and techniques that can be productized and be made part of the IP. Participate in client discussions and living labs to co-innovate with clients and academia

1. Emerging Tech Trends Research :

- Research on emerging Tech trends, ecosystem of players, use cases and their applicability and impact to client businesses.

- Lead the development of POCs in Emerging tech areas.

- Identify relevant startups and Open-source solutions.

- Analyze client business context and create a specific technology reports based on problem statements by clients.

- Demonstrate Thought.

- Leadership through white papers, PoVs, patents, publications, participation in Emerging Tech forums.

- Support for Identify stakeholders, organize Inspire Next events, facilitate discussions.

- Track & update emerging spaces for incubation

2. Applied Research Centre Activities :

- Incubate and operate Emerging Tech solutions. Define POCs for the identified CoEs, develop reusable components, accelerators and tools.

- Create reference implementations, technology demonstrations.

- Ideate and build new use cases to demonstrate adoption of CoE solutions

3. Problem Definition, Requirements :

- Analyze client business context, identify business challenges and define problem statements in the context of their technology specialization.

- Define granular technical requirements based on the business requirements

- Define technical features to address the business problem statement.

- Identify integration requirements, security, performance, availability requirements

4. IP Development :

- Architect emerging Tech solutions (Tools, accelerators, components, Platforms, frameworks) addressing security, performance, availability considerations. Architect Emerging Tech Platforms.

- Lead development of emerging tech solutions. Lead modules as part of platform development.

- Lead development of tools and components.

- Define the architecture, low level design, DevOps strategy while developing various features of IP.

- Develop foundational components key to success of core IP and disseminate it to the team.

- Review the tech components to ensure that they are latest, and tech debt is least during implementation

5. Innovation Consulting :

- Understand the customers business domain, problems and apply combination of emerging technologies, Infosys IPs to solve customers business problem and provide ideas on innovative solutions.

- Consulting and collaborating with client enterprise architecture team in creating defining Solution.

- Participate in client specific PoCs, IP discussions to showcase demos, explain IP features.

- Deploy IP, contextualize the emerging tech, IP based solutions for the client

6. IP Deployment :

- Understand client's landscape, design customization and integrations.

- Identify opportunities for Re-use and design systems accordingly.

- Lead the deployment of IP and provide contextualized solution to the client.

- Lead the automation of deployment and comply with client specific policies, architecture

7. IP Commercialization :

- Architect GTM showcases, use cases, Industry solutions.

- Create GTM technical collaterals.

- Support pre-sales from Tech architecture perspective.

- Support the GTM team with building new showcase, product documentation, live demos.

- Estimate and build new emerging tech PoCs, implementation timelines

8. Talent Management :

- Mentor teams, assess talent development needs and create skill development plan, create sandbox for learning and development

9. Emerging Tech Startup Ecosystem :

- Support units in curating startups for partnership to augment Infosys' offerings.

- Understand client demand and orchestrate relevant startups to solve client problems

10. Thought Leadership :

- Demonstrate Thought Leadership through white papers, PoVs, patents, publications, participation in Emerging Tech forums. Conceptualize and develop showcases, demo scenarios for the IP. Write whitepapers, blogs on emerging tech, technical PoCs

Knowledge in :

- Architecture frameworks

- Emerging Tech like Gen AI, AR/VR, HCI, Privacy , Security, Robotics, Blockchain and so on

- Agile development and build processes
