The Ab Initio Developer will design, develop, and optimize ETL processes using the Ab Initio platform for large-scale data integration and transformation.

The role involves working closely with data architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain ETL workflows using Ab Initio GDE, EME, and Co>Operating System.

- Build and optimize Ab Initio graphs, plans, and continuous flows for batch and real-time processing.

- Ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity across systems.

- Perform performance tuning and troubleshoot production issues.

- Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and business teams to deliver scalable solutions.

- Prepare technical documentation and participate in code reviews.

Required Skills :

- Hands-on experience with Ab Initio suite (GDE, EME, Continuous Flows, BRE/ACE).

- Strong knowledge of ETL concepts, data warehousing, and data modeling.

- Proficiency in SQL and experience with RDBMS (Oracle, Teradata, etc.).

- Good understanding of UNIX/Linux shell scripting.

- Familiarity with parallelism techniques and performance optimization.

Nice-to-Have :

- Exposure to Big Data technologies (Hadoop, Hive, Impala).

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Agile methodologies.

- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) for data integration.

- 4 to 10 years of experience in Ab Initio development and ETL processes.
