Job Summary :
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Team Lead - SME to oversee and guide a global team responsible for Endpoint Management, Vulnerability Remediation, Networking, Identity & Access Management (IAM), and cross-platform administration (Linux & macOS).
The role requires a strong technical foundation, leadership capability, and the ability to drive operational excellence, security compliance, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities :
Leadership & Team Management :
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers across endpoint management, IAM, networking, and system administration.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) providing technical guidance and escalations.
- Plan, prioritize, and allocate tasks ensuring timely delivery and SLA adherence.
- Drive knowledge-sharing, documentation, and process improvements.
Endpoint Management & Security :
- Oversee configuration, deployment, and lifecycle management of Windows, Linux, and macOS endpoints.
- Ensure compliance with organizational security standards through patching, encryption, and endpoint policies.
- Lead vulnerability remediation efforts, coordinating with cross-functional teams to reduce risk exposure.
- Implement automation for patch management, software distribution, and compliance reporting.
Networking & IAM :
- Provide oversight of network security, connectivity troubleshooting, and endpoint-to-network integration.
- Manage Identity and Access Management (IAM) systems ensuring least privilege, role-based access control, and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with security teams to enforce MFA, SSO, and Zero Trust principles.
System Administration (Linux & macOS) :
- Act as SME for Linux and macOS environments, ensuring availability, scalability, and security.
- Troubleshoot OS-level, configuration, and integration issues.
- Manage updates, hardening, and performance tuning across systems.
Process & Compliance :
- Establish and maintain ITIL/ITSM-aligned processes (Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge).
- Ensure audit readiness and compliance with ISO 27001, SOC2, GDPR, and internal governance standards.
- Track KPIs and prepare regular operational and security reports.
Required Skills & Experience :
1. 7+ years in IT Infrastructure/Security roles, with at least 23 years in a leadership or SME capacity.
2. Strong expertise in :
- Endpoint Management tools (e.g., Intune, Endpoint Central, Kandji, Jamf).
- Vulnerability management platforms (e.g., Tenable, Qualys, Rapid7).
- IAM solutions (e.g., Okta, OneLogin, Azure AD).
- Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, Firewalls).
- Operating Systems : Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu/CentOS), macOS, and Windows.
3. Hands-on with automation/scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python preferred).
4. Strong understanding of IT security principles and regulatory compliance frameworks.
5. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
