Information Security Consultant

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, implement, and manage enterprise-grade information security solutions.

- Perform advanced troubleshooting for networking issues with IPv6 and related protocols.

- Administer and optimize VMware and OpenStack environments.

- Configure, monitor, and maintain security technologies including Firewalls, IPS, SIEM, WAF, and NGFWs.

- Lead security incident investigations and provide expert remediation guidance.

- Develop and maintain scripts (Unix Shell, Perl) to automate monitoring and security processes.

- Ensure compliance with industry standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to strengthen organizational security posture.

Required Skills & Expertise :

1. Strong hands-on experience with :

- VMware, Red Hat OpenStack, Linux/Unix

- IP Networking with advanced IPv6 knowledge & troubleshooting

- Scripting (Unix Shell, Perl)

2. Deep expertise in operating managed security technologies :

- Firewalls : Cisco ASA, Check Point

- IPS : Cisco

- File Integrity Monitoring : Tripwire, Trend Micro Deep Security

- SIEM solutions

- Web Application Firewalls : Imperva

- Next-Generation Firewalls : Palo Alto Networks, Cisco FTD

- Security management tools

Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

- 8 - 12 years of proven experience in cybersecurity with strong networking and security infrastructure background.
