Job Title : Informatica PowerCenter Developer

Experience : 4- 5 Years (Relevant Experience)

Work Mode : Hybrid (3 Days Mandatory Work from Office)

Key Responsibilities :

ETL Development & Data Integration :

- Design, develop, test, and implement ETL solutions using Informatica PowerCenter.

- Develop scalable and high-performance data integration workflows and mappings.

- Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into ETL solutions.

- Optimize existing ETL processes for performance, scalability, and maintainability.

- Troubleshoot ETL failures and implement corrective actions.

Data Migration & Data Warehousing :

- Participate in end-to-end data migration projects from legacy systems to target platforms.

- Design and implement data migration strategies and validation processes.

- Develop and maintain enterprise data warehouse solutions.

- Ensure data consistency, integrity, and quality across multiple systems.

- Support data reconciliation and migration testing activities.

Database & PL/SQL Development :

- Develop and optimize Oracle PL/SQL procedures, packages, functions, and triggers.

- Perform query optimization and performance tuning.

- Work with large datasets and complex database structures.

- Support database-related troubleshooting and enhancements.

API & XML Integration :

- Develop ETL processes using XML files as source and target.

- Integrate Informatica solutions with REST/SOAP APIs and external applications.

- Understand upstream and downstream system dependencies and data flows.

Design & Solution Delivery :

- Participate in requirement gathering and technical discussions.

- Prepare technical design documents, mapping specifications, and solution overviews.

- Perform effort estimation and contribute to project planning.

- Review code and ensure adherence to development standards and best practices.

- Support release planning and deployment activities.

Production Support & Maintenance :

- Provide production support for Informatica applications.

- Monitor ETL jobs and resolve production issues within SLA timelines.

- Perform root cause analysis for recurring incidents.

- Support 24x7 application availability and server maintenance activities.

- Coordinate with stakeholders during critical production incidents.

Testing & Quality Assurance :

- Prepare unit test cases and support System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

- Validate ETL mappings, workflows, and data transformations.

- Ensure compliance with quality standards and project guidelines.

Collaboration & Leadership :

- Work closely with business analysts, architects, database teams, and developers.

- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.

- Mentor junior developers and share technical knowledge.

- Participate in technical interviews and support team-building initiatives.

- Drive continuous improvement and promote development best practices.

Required Technical Skills :

Mandatory Skills :

- 4- 5 years of experience in Informatica PowerCenter development

- Strong ETL design and development experience

- Oracle Database and PL/SQL development

- Data Migration and Data Warehousing concepts

- XML processing as source and target

- API integration experience

- UNIX/Linux scripting

- Performance tuning of ETL jobs and SQL queries

- Informatica mappings, workflows, sessions, and transformations
