Informatica On-Premise Consultant

Highest Qualification Required Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Must/Good to Have Details :

Must have :

- 8-10 years of experience in Informatica On-Premise PowerCenter (9.x/10.x).

- Strong expertise in ETL development, debugging, and performance tuning.

- Hands-on experience in Informatica workflows, mappings, sessions, transformations.

- Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts (ETL, star schema, fact/dimension modeling).

- Strong knowledge of Oracle/SQL Server/DB2 databases with advanced SQL and PL/SQL skills.

- Experience in production support/AMS projects, including ticket handling, RCA, and SLA adherence.

- Familiarity with job scheduling tools (Control-M, Autosys, or similar).

- Experience in data migration, batch loads, and incremental data refreshes.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and client-facing skills.

Good to have :

- Knowledge of Informatica Administration (repository management, user/security setup).

- Exposure to Informatica Data Quality (IDQ) or Informatica MDM.

- Experience with integration between Informatica and Oracle EBS, Fusion, or other ERP systems.

- Familiarity with Cloud migration projects (IICS, Azure/AWS data integration)

Key role and responsibilities :

- Provide L2/L3 production support for Informatica On-Premise ETL processes and jobs.

- Handle incident management, service requests, and problem resolution within SLAs.

- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve ETL job failures, performance issues, and data discrepancies.
