Informatica BDM Developer

Role Summary :

The Informatica BDM Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining big data integration solutions using Informatica DEI/BDM tools. The role requires strong expertise in Hadoop ecosystems and the ability to deliver scalable, high-performance data pipelines that support business analytics and data processing needs.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and implement data integration solutions using Informatica BDM/DEI

- Build and optimize data pipelines on Hadoop and HDFS environments

- Work with Hive SQL and manage various file system types and data structures

- Analyze source systems and translate requirements into technical solutions

- Ensure data quality, performance optimization, and reliability of data workflows

- Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and business stakeholders

- Troubleshoot and resolve data processing and performance issues

- Support deployments, enhancements, and production issues as required

Key Result Areas (KRAs) :

- Timely delivery of scalable and reliable Informatica BDM solutions

- Performance optimization of big data workflows and integrations

- Accuracy and consistency of data across Hadoop ecosystems

- Reduction in data processing failures and rework

Required Skillsets :

- Strong hands-on experience with Informatica DEI / Big Data Management

- In-depth understanding of Informatica BDM architecture and components

- Hands-on experience with Hadoop/HDFS ecosystems

- Proficiency in Hive SQL and big data file system structures

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks

Good to Have Skills :

- Experience with Teradata or Cloudera platforms

- Exposure to Agile development environments

- Strong communication and stakeholder interaction skills
