Role Summary :

We are looking for an experienced Informatica Administrator with strong expertise in Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS) and on-prem Informatica platforms.

The role involves administering, configuring, and optimizing Informatica environments on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

The ideal candidate will ensure high availability, performance, and security of the data integration and data management ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities :

- Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain Informatica environments (IICS / PowerCenter / Data Quality / MDM as applicable).

- Manage users, roles, security permissions, and access controls.

- Monitor system performance and ensure platform stability and uptime.

- Work with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) for deployment, scaling, capacity planning, and monitoring.

- Configure connectivity between Informatica Cloud and various cloud/on-prem data sources.

- Ensure optimal resource utilization and cost-efficiency in cloud environments.

- Troubleshoot platform issues, manage incidents, and support development teams.

- Perform log analysis, root-cause investigation, and performance tuning.

- Manage metadata, repository backups, and environment refreshes.

- Implement encryption, secure connections, and data protection best practices.

- Maintain audit logs, ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.

- Automate deployments, monitoring, and environment provisioning using scripts or DevOps tools.

- Support CI/CD pipelines for Informatica deployments.

- Work closely with data engineering, ETL development, cloud infrastructure, and security teams.

- Prepare documentation including SOPs, installation guides, and operational runbooks.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 4-8 years of hands-on experience as an Informatica Administrator.

- Strong expertise in Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS) and/or Informatica PowerCenter administration.

- Experience managing Informatica services in AWS, Azure, or GCP.

- Solid understanding of ETL, data integration, and data management concepts.

- Experience with server administration, networking basics, SSL, proxies, and firewalls.

- Proficiency in performance tuning, troubleshooting, and log analysis.

- Knowledge of Linux/Unix, shell scripting, and automation.

- Practical experience with DevOps pipelines, version control, or deployment automation
