Job Description

Position : Informatica Administrator

Experience : 5+ years in Informatica PowerCenter Administration

Location : Remote

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the upgrade of PowerCenter Repository from 10.4 to 10.5.1 in a GCP VM environment.

- Collaborate with DBAs to set up and configure databases for new repositories and domains.

- Administer and maintain Informatica PowerCenter environments, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Informatica workflows, sessions, and server configurations.

- Automate routine tasks using UNIX shell scripting, Python, or other tools.


- Monitor system health, perform backups, and ensure high availability of the Informatica infrastructure.

Technical Skills Required :

- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Informatica PowerCenter Administration.

- Proficiency in SQL for database interactions and performance tuning.

- Strong scripting skills in UNIX/Linux and Python for automation.

- Familiarity with C++ (considered a plus).

- Exposure to Autosys for job scheduling (advantageous but not mandatory).

- Knowledge of GCP or cloud environments is preferred.

Nice-to-Have (Not Mandatory) :


- Experience with IICS (Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services).
