Job Title : AWS Engineer (Proof of Concept Cloud Migration)

Location : Onsite for Thailand (Candidate from India who are willing to travel to Thailand for 6-8 Months can also apply)

Engagement Type : Full-time

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement AWS infrastructure components (compute, storage, networking, security) for application and data workloads.

- Support migration and modernization efforts assessing on-premise or existing systems and defining migration paths to AWS.

- Set up VPCs, IAM policies, EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and CloudWatch as needed for the POC environment.

- Work closely with application and DevOps teams to deploy and validate applications on AWS.

- Automate environment provisioning using Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.

- Conduct performance and compatibility testing of the application in the AWS environment.

- Document architecture, configuration, and deployment steps for knowledge transfer.

- Ensure security best practices and compliance standards within the AWS setup.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 36 years of hands-on experience with AWS cloud engineering or DevOps.

- Strong understanding of AWS services EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, Lambda, ECS/EKS, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, etc.

- Experience with migration or re-platforming applications to AWS (infrastructure or application level).

- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).

- Familiarity with Linux/Unix administration and networking fundamentals.

- Scripting knowledge (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).

- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and integration with AWS services.

- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Good to Have :

- AWS certification (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate or DevOps Engineer Professional).

- Exposure to data migration or data warehouse modernization (Redshift, Glue, Snowflake on AWS).

- Experience with monitoring and cost optimization tools on AWS.
