Position Summary :

The Senior Java Developer with Angular 15+ is a critical fullstack role responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust, scalable web applications using Java backend and Angular frontend frameworks. The role requires deep technical expertise, strong problem-solving abilities, and a passion for clean, maintainable code. This is a full lifecycle developer role involved in architecture design, feature implementation, and optimizing application performance.

Key Responsibilities :

- Analyze user requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.

- Design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality Java applications using Spring Boot framework.

- Build and maintain responsive, scalable frontend components utilizing Angular 15+ and AngularJS as applicable.

- Collaborate with product owners, UX/UI designers, QA teams, and other developers to deliver seamless solutions.

- Identify performance bottlenecks and bugs, providing effective fixes while ensuring system scalability and security.

- Lead code reviews, mentor junior developers, and promote best coding practices on the team.

- Participate actively in Agile Scrum ceremonies, providing inputs to sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews.

- Document system architecture and application features clearly to enhance maintainability and knowledge sharing.

- Understand business domain complexities to propose innovative technical solutions aligned with strategic goals.

- Stay updated with latest advancements in Java and Angular ecosystems and integrate relevant technologies when appropriate.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

- 8 to 12 years of proven professional experience as a Java Fullstack Developer.

- Strong hands-on experience with Core Java, Spring Boot, and modern Angular versions (Angular 15+ is mandatory).

- Experience with AngularJS is an added advantage.

- Deep understanding of object-oriented design principles and software architectural patterns.

- Proficient with RESTful API design and integration.

- Familiarity with front-end build tools, version control (Git), and CI/CD pipelines.

- Experience working in Agile methodologies with collaborative tools (JIRA, Confluence).

- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to handle complex projects, prioritize tasks, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Desired Competencies :

- Experience mentoring and guiding junior developers.

- Prior experience in cloud technologies, microservices, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) is a plus.

- Exposure to DevOps practices.

- Strong team player with a proactive attitude and willingness to take ownership.

Reporting & Work Model :

This role reports to the Technical Lead or Engineering Manager. It is based out of Hyderabad with fixed working hours from 1 :00 PM to 10 :00 PM IST.
