Role Overview :

As a Senior Developer specializing in Cloud-Native Applications and Microservices, you will play a pivotal role in modernizing our digital ecosystem. You will lead the design, development, and evolution of highly scalable, resilient, and distributed systems. A significant part of this role involves driving our monolith-to-microservices migration journey, ensuring seamless transitions, robust messaging architectures, and optimal cloud infrastructure utilization.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, build, and maintain high-performance, scalable, and secure microservices using Java and the Spring Boot ecosystem.

- Architect and execute strategies for migrating legacy monolithic applications into decoupled, cloud-native microservices.

- Implement advanced distributed system patterns such as Saga (Orchestration/Choreography), Circuit Breakers (Resilience4j), CQRS, and Event Sourcing.

- Apply DDD principles to define bounded contexts and build clean, maintainable domain models.

- Messaging & Event-Driven Architecture : Design robust asynchronous communication workflows utilizing RabbitMQ (managing exchanges, queues, and clustering topologies).

- Optimize application performance and state management using Redis for distributed caching, Pub/Sub mechanisms, and JSON storage.

- Deploy, manage, and scale applications on the Azure cloud platform. Leverage Docker containerization and Kubernetes (AKS) for orchestration.

- Establish rigorous testing standards by writing comprehensive unit/integration tests and conducting API load testing to ensure system reliability under stress.

- Provide technical leadership, conduct code reviews, and mentor junior/mid-level developers on best practices in cloud-native development.

Required Qualifications :

- Total Experience : 8 to 13 years in professional software development.

- Microservices Mastery : 5+ years of dedicated experience designing microservices architectures and successfully driving monolith-to-microservices migrations.

- Deep expertise in Java (8 or higher), Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and building enterprise-grade RESTful APIs.

- Strong hands-on experience with advanced RabbitMQ concepts including custom exchanges (Direct, Topic, Fanout), clustering, high availability, and dead-letter queues.

- Proven experience using Redis for high-speed caching, Pub/Sub messaging, and complex data structures (Redis JSON storage).

- Solid experience working with Azure core services (e.g., Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Key Vault, Azure SQL).

- Strong familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes / Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) for building and managing containerized deployments (highly preferred).

- Proficient in unit and integration testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito, Testcontainers).

- Experience with API load and performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling).

- CI/CD : Familiarity with automated CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins).

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to troubleshooting complex distributed systems.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional product and infrastructure teams.

- A strong sense of ownership and a passion for staying up-to-date with emerging cloud-native technologies.
