We are seeking highly skilled IBM ODM (Operational Decision Manager) / JRules Consultants and Leads with 5 to 10 years of experience in business rules management, decision automation, and enterprise application integration. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in designing, developing, and implementing rule-based solutions using IBM ODM/JRules while collaborating with business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver scalable decision management systems.

Candidates with prior experience in the Airlines or Aviation domain will be highly preferred due to the nature of business processes, fare management, pricing, loyalty programs, reservations, and operational decision workflows.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain business rules and decision services using IBM ODM/JRules.

- Create and manage rule repositories, decision tables, decision trees, and rule flows.

- Develop reusable and scalable rule-based components to support enterprise applications.

- Implement business policies and decision logic through ODM frameworks.

- Configure and manage Rule Execution Server (RES) and Decision Center environments.

- Analyze business requirements and convert them into technical rule-based solutions.

- Design enterprise-grade decision management architectures.

- Define rule governance standards and best practices.

- Collaborate with architects and development teams to integrate ODM solutions into enterprise systems.

- Participate in solution reviews and architecture discussions.

- Integrate IBM ODM solutions with enterprise applications, middleware platforms, APIs, and backend systems.

- Develop and support REST and SOAP-based service integrations.

- Work with middleware technologies to facilitate seamless communication between systems.

- Ensure secure and reliable integration of decision services within business applications.

- Support airline business processes such as :

a. Fare and Pricing Rules

b. Reservation Systems

c. Loyalty & Rewards Programs

d. Passenger Services

e. Revenue Management

f. Operational Decision Automation

- Analyze rule execution performance and identify bottlenecks.

- Optimize rule design, execution flows, and decision services.

- Improve scalability, maintainability, and runtime efficiency.

- Conduct performance tuning and load testing activities.

- Support deployment of ODM applications across development, testing, and production environments.

- Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis.

- Ensure application stability, availability, and performance.

- Collaborate with infrastructure and DevOps teams during releases and deployments.

- Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

- Prepare technical design documents, solution specifications, and implementation plans.

- Conduct code reviews and enforce development best practices.

- Develop unit test cases and support system integration testing and UAT activities.

- Ensure compliance with organizational quality standards and governance processes.

Leadership Responsibilities (For Lead Role) :

- Lead teams of ODM developers and consultants.

- Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior team members.

- Manage project deliverables, timelines, and resource coordination.

- Drive technical discussions with clients, architects, and business stakeholders.

- Facilitate requirement workshops and solution reviews.

- Ensure successful project execution and delivery.

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline.
