Infocus Technologies - Senior SAP MM Consultant

Role Overview :

The Senior SAP MM Consultant will serve as a key functional and technical expert responsible for leading the design, configuration, implementation, and optimization of the SAP Materials Management (MM) module.

The role requires an experienced professional capable of driving end-to-end SAP MM processes, integrating with cross-functional modules, and ensuring system efficiency and scalability in an S/4HANA environment.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Solution Design & Implementation :

- Lead the end-to-end implementation of the SAP MM module across multiple projects.

- Translate complex business requirements into scalable MM solutions aligned with best practices.

- Configure MM sub-modules including Procurement, Inventory Management, Material Master, Vendor Evaluation, and Logistics Execution.

- Design and document functional specifications for RICEFW objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflows).

2. System Integration & Collaboration :

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with SD, PP, FI, and CO modules.

- Work closely with technical teams (ABAP, Basis, and Cloud Infra) for system performance and integration touchpoints.

- Ensure end-to-end process alignment and data consistency across modules.

3. Process Optimization & Continuous Improvement :

- Analyze existing MM business processes and identify areas for automation or improvement.

- Leverage S/4HANA capabilities to enhance procurement and inventory management efficiency.

- Implement best practices in Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Vendor Management processes.

4. Testing, Training & Documentation :

- Develop and execute unit, integration, and user acceptance testing scenarios.

- Prepare detailed functional documentation and process flow diagrams.

- Conduct user training sessions and prepare training manuals for business users.

5. Support & Troubleshooting :

- Provide Level 3 functional support, analyze incidents, and implement permanent resolutions.

- Collaborate with SAP Support and BASIS teams to manage patches, upgrades, and enhancements.

- Ensure system performance, compliance, and data accuracy in SAP MM operations.

Technical & Functional Expertise Required :

- Strong expertise in Procurement, Inventory Management, Material Valuation, Vendor Management, and Logistics Execution.

- Proficiency in Release Strategy, Batch Management, Pricing Procedures, and Subcontracting.

- Hands-on experience in S/4HANA implementation, migration, or greenfield/brownfield projects.

- Understanding of SAP Fiori apps and MM-related analytical dashboards.

- Familiarity with IDocs, BAPIs, and ALE integrations.

Preferred Candidate Profile :

- Certifications : SAP MM or S/4HANA certification preferred.

- Technical Acumen : Strong understanding of underlying data structures and integration points.

- Leadership : Ability to guide a team of consultants and coordinate with business and IT stakeholders.

- Soft Skills : Exceptional communication, analytical, and documentation skills with client-facing experience
