We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented SAP BO Developer to design, develop, and optimize BusinessObjects reports and dashboards for enterprise-wide data analysis and visualization. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in SAP BusinessObjects (BO) and SQL, with a strong understanding of data modeling, universe design, and performance optimization techniques.

This is a technical, delivery-oriented position requiring proficiency in reporting tools, ETL integration, and business intelligence (BI) methodologies.

Key Responsibilities :

Design, Develop, and Deploy SAP BO Reports :

- Create, customize, and maintain complex reports and dashboards using SAP BusinessObjects tools (Web Intelligence, Crystal Reports, Dashboards, and BI Launchpad).

- Implement business logic and data models that align with client reporting requirements.

Universe Design and Data Modeling :

- Design and maintain universes using Information Design Tool (IDT) or Universe Design Tool (UDT).

- Ensure semantic layers are optimized for performance, scalability, and reusability.

SQL and Data Integration :

- Develop advanced SQL queries, stored procedures, and views to extract and manipulate data from underlying databases.

- Collaborate with data warehouse and ETL teams to ensure data integrity and accuracy in reporting solutions.

Performance Optimization :

- Conduct performance tuning of reports and universes to minimize latency and maximize system efficiency.

- Troubleshoot and resolve data and report-level issues.

Testing and Documentation :

- Prepare and execute unit, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT) for all BI deliverables.

- Document report specifications, data mappings, and design logic comprehensively.

Collaboration and Support :

- Work closely with functional consultants, business analysts, and end-users to gather requirements and translate them into technical deliverables.

- Provide post-deployment support, troubleshooting, and enhancements.

Required Skills and Competencies :

- Strong experience (2.5+ years) in SAP BusinessObjects development (Web Intelligence, Crystal Reports, BO Dashboards, IDT/UDT).

- Proficient in SQL and relational database concepts (Oracle, MS SQL Server, or similar).

- Experience with data warehousing and ETL processes.

- Solid understanding of BI architecture, performance tuning, and data modeling.

- Ability to analyze, design, and implement end-to-end reporting solutions.

- Good communication and problem-solving skills with a client-centric mindset.

Desirable Skills :

- Exposure to SAP BW/4HANA, SAP HANA modeling, or BO integration with HANA views.

- Experience with version control tools, automation scripts, or report scheduling using BO CMC.

- Understanding of cloud-based BI deployments (AWS or Azure).
