Role Overview :

We are looking for an experienced Data Architect with strong expertise in Databricks and Snowflake to design, build, and optimize scalable, cloud-native data architectures. The role focuses on enabling advanced analytics, data engineering, and AI/ML use cases while ensuring performance, security, and governance across the data ecosystem.

This position requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, data engineers, and cloud teams to align data architecture with enterprise goals.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement Lakehouse architectures using Databricks, Delta Lake, and Apache Spark

- Architect and oversee data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and data integration frameworks

- Define and enforce data architecture standards, governance, security, and best practices

- Optimize Databricks cluster performance and ensure cost-efficient job execution

- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to data engineers and developers

- Integrate Databricks and Snowflake with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and enterprise applications

- Evaluate and recommend new tools, technologies, and frameworks to enhance the data platform

- Ensure compliance with data privacy, security, and regulatory requirements

- Support pre-sales and proposal activities, including solution design and technical inputs

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Strong hands-on experience with Databricks, Snowflake, Apache Spark, and Delta Lake

- Expertise in data modeling, data warehousing, and lakehouse design patterns

- Experience with cloud platforms : Azure, AWS, or GCP

- Strong understanding of data governance, security, and compliance

- Proficiency in ETL/ELT tools, SQL, and data integration frameworks

- Ability to lead architecture discussions and influence technical decisions

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience working on AI/ML and advanced analytics platforms

- Exposure to real-time or streaming data architectures

- Prior involvement in client-facing or pre-sales engagements

- Relevant certifications in Cloud, Databricks, or Data Architecture
