We are actively looking for experienced OpenBMC Developers / Sr. Firmware Engineers who are passionate about Embedded Systems, Firmware Development, and Platform Manageability technologies.

Location : Bangalore

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, debug, validate, and optimize OpenBMC firmware solutions

- Work hands-on with Embedded Linux development and firmware programming

- Collaborate with silicon, hardware, BIOS, firmware, and software teams during platform bring-up and feature enablement

- Develop and enhance BMC services, daemons, and APIs using IPMI and Redfish

- Drive issue triaging, debugging, and root-cause analysis across multiple teams

- Contribute to firmware security hardening, secure boot, TPM integration, and measured boot implementation

- Support verification and validation of embedded features across silicon platforms

- Participate in proof-of-concept development for upcoming technologies and platform innovations

- Improve system performance, reliability, scalability, and post-silicon activities

Required Technical Expertise :

- Strong experience in Embedded Linux and OpenBMC development

- Excellent coding skills in C & C++

- Hands-on expertise with Yocto Project / Buildroot

- Strong understanding of D-Bus, sdbusplus, and SystemD services

- Experience working with Device Tree (DTS/DTSI) configurations

- Familiarity with hardware interfaces like GPIO, I2C, SPI, SGPIO

- Networking knowledge with IPMI & Redfish APIs

- Experience with U-Boot and bootloader customization

- Knowledge of security concepts including TPM and Secure Boot

- Experience developing kernel modules, drivers, daemons, and embedded applications

Preferred Experience :

- BMC architecture and platform manageability

- BIOS/Firmware bring-up activities

- Memory technologies like DDR3/DDR4/DDR5/HBM

- Semiconductor or embedded platform development environments

- Multi-site engineering collaboration and technical leadership
