About the Role :
We are seeking a highly experienced OpenBMC Firmware Developer with strong expertise in embedded systems, server firmware, and Linux-based platform development. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, integrating, and debugging firmware solutions for advanced server management platforms and next-generation infrastructure products.
Key Responsibilities :
- Work on embedded Linux and Yocto-based build environments.
- Develop low-level firmware modules using C and C++.
- Implement and support Out-of-Band (OOB) server manageability features.
- Work closely with BIOS, hardware, platform, and validation teams for firmware bring-up and integration.
- Develop and integrate features based on IPMI, Redfish, PLDM, MCTP, and RDE protocols.
- Customize and integrate Zephyr RTOS-based firmware components.
- Debug firmware issues, perform root cause analysis, and optimize performance.
- Support firmware lifecycle activities including development, testing, validation, and release management.
- Participate in architecture discussions and technical design reviews.
Mandatory Skills :
- Strong hands-on experience with Linux system programming
- Experience with Yocto build system
- Experience working on x86 server platforms
- Working knowledge of Zephyr RTOS

Preferred Skills :
- Familiarity with ASPEED BMC controllers (AST2500 / AST2600).
- Understanding of firmware security, secure boot, and firmware update mechanisms.
- Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies.
Educational Qualification :
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Embedded Systems, or related field.
