Job Description :

We are looking for a hands-on Software Test Automation Engineer with strong Python skills and experience in macOS/Linux environments to build and maintain automated tests for NFS/SMB file protocol workflows. The role involves developing automation frameworks, debugging complex system issues, improving test coverage, and integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain automated tests using Python and PyTest.

- Build test scenarios for file operations, concurrency, failover, recovery, and error handling.

- Debug issues across macOS clients, file protocols, servers, and networks.

- Improve test coverage, reduce flaky tests, and enhance automation stability.

- Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines.

Required Skills :

- Strong Python programming experience.

- Hands-on experience with macOS and Linux/Unix.

- Knowledge of NFS/SMB, file systems, networking (TCP/IP), and distributed systems.

- Experience with PyTest, Git, CI/CD, and debugging tools.

- Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.

Preferred Skills :

- Storage/NAS domain experience.

- Packet capture, system tracing, or low-level debugging.

- Experience with virtualization or containerized test environments.
