Role Summary :


The Security Architect will design, implement, and troubleshoot advanced firewall solutions using Palo Alto Networks products. The ideal candidate will have expertise in networking, security protocols, and hands-on experience in implementing and managing firewall infrastructures in enterprise environments.


Key Responsibilities :


- Deploy and configure Palo Alto firewalls, including GlobalProtect VPN and Panorama, from scratch.


- Provide expert-level troubleshooting of network and firewall issues, including packet flow, NAT, QoS, and IPSEC VPN.


- Conduct advanced analysis using tools like Wireshark to diagnose and resolve security and connectivity challenges.


- Design and implement VPN solutions (SSL, IPSEC), including scenario-based configurations.


- Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements and provide optimal security solutions.


- Configure and troubleshoot authentication flows (SAML, LDAP) and manage certificates (PKI).


- Explain and apply concepts related to OSI layers, TCP/IP, IP subnetting, and routing protocols like BGP in solutioning and troubleshooting scenarios.


- Provide training and knowledge transfer on Palo Alto firewall features and functionalities.


Required Skills :


- Strong understanding of OSI model, TCP/IP, and packet flow analysis.


- Hands-on experience with Palo Alto firewalls, including GlobalProtect VPN and Panorama.


- In-depth knowledge of VPN technologies (SSL, IPSEC), NAT, and QoS.


- Proficiency in tools like Wireshark for packet analysis.


- Expertise in SAML and LDAP authentication flows.


- Solid understanding of DNS, HTTP, SSL, and FTP protocols.


- Strong logical and systematic troubleshooting skills.


- Ability to design, implement, and manage firewall solutions in complex environments.
