Job Description :

Responsibilities :

- Participate in the planning and execution of PACS migration projects, including data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.

- Analyze existing PACS infrastructure and data to determine migration requirements and potential challenges.

- Develop and maintain detailed migration plans, timelines, and documentation.

- Perform data validation and quality assurance to ensure data integrity and accuracy during and after migration.

- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to PACS migration, including data mapping, DICOM conformance, and network connectivity.

- Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to configure and optimize PACS systems for optimal performance.

- Provide training and support to end-users on new PACS functionalities and workflows.

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in PACS migration and data management.

- Adhere to data security and privacy regulations (e.g., HIPAA) throughout the migration process.

- Participate in project meetings and provide regular updates on migration progress.

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

- Experience : 3-8 years of experience in PACS administration, support, and migration.

- Strong understanding of DICOM standards and medical imaging workflows.

- Experience with various PACS vendors and platforms (e.g., GE, Siemens, Philips, Agfa).

- Proficiency in data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.

- Experience with database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle).

- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Experience with project management methodologies is a plus.

- Knowledge of healthcare IT security and privacy regulations (e.g., HIPAA).
