- Responsible for designing, administering, and maintaining reliable, secure, and high-performing database systems.

- Combines traditional DBA expertise with Site Reliability Engineering principles to ensure availability, automation, scalability, and operational excellence across on-prem and cloud environments.

- Administer production and non-production databases (MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Redis, MSSQL).

Key Responsibilities :

- Implement backup, replication, clustering, and disaster recovery strategies.

- Monitor database health, system performance, and storage utilization using Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK.

- Engineer and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code deployments with Terraform and Ansible.

- Configure CI/CD pipelines for database schema management and environment provisioning.

- Collaborate with DevOps and application teams to design resilient and fault-tolerant architectures.

Required Skills / Must-Have :

Education & Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

- MCA / BCA / Diploma in Computer Engineering with 15+ years of progressive DBA/SRE experience.

Certifications/Licenses :

- MongoDB Certified DBA Associate (preferred).

- Oracle MySQL Database Administrator or Microsoft SQL Server Certification.

- AWS / Azure Database or DevOps Engineer - Professional.

- Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA).

- HashiCorp Terraform Associate.
