We are looking for a seasoned SharePoint Lead Developer with hands-on experience to join our technology team.

This is a hybrid leadership - technical role - you will drive SharePoint solution architecture, lead SPFx development, configure and govern the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, and serve as the primary technical interface with clients and stakeholders.

The ideal candidate combines deep development expertise with platform administration skills and the communication ability to translate complex requirements into scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

Technical Development :

- Architect and develop SharePoint solutions using the SPFx (SharePoint Framework), including web parts, extensions, and adaptive card extensions.

- Build and maintain Power Platform solutions - Power Apps (Canvas & Model-Driven), Power Automate flows, and Power BI reports - integrated with SharePoint.

- Develop custom connectors, APIs, and integrations with Azure services (Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Entra ID).

- Write clean, maintainable TypeScript/JavaScript code following established coding standards and conducting peer code reviews.

SharePoint Administration & Configuration :

- Configure and maintain SharePoint Online and on-premises environments via Central Administration and SharePoint Admin Center.

- Manage and optimize Search Schema - managed properties, result sources, query rules, and search verticals.

- Administer Managed Metadata Service and Taxonomy management, including term stores, content types, and site columns.

- Define and enforce governance policies - site provisioning, permission models, retention labels, DLP policies, and compliance configurations.

- Monitor platform health, performance, and adoption using Microsoft 365 Admin Center and reporting tools.

Leadership & Stakeholder Management :

- Lead technical discovery sessions, requirement workshops, and solution design discussions with clients and business stakeholders.

- Translate business requirements into technical specifications, effort estimates, and delivery roadmaps.

- Guide and mentor junior/mid-level developers, conducting sprint planning and code reviews.

- Collaborate with project managers, UX designers, and architects to ensure on-time, quality delivery.

- Prepare and present solution documentation, architecture diagrams, and demo decks to client leadership.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Core SharePoint & SPFx :

- 7 - 8 years of SharePoint development experience (Online + On-Premises).

- Strong proficiency in SPFx with React, TypeScript, and PnPjs.

- Experience with SharePoint REST APIs, Microsoft Graph API, and CSOM/JSOM.

- Solid understanding of SharePoint site architecture - Hub Sites, Communication Sites, Team Sites.

Power Platform :

- Hands-on experience building Canvas Apps and Model-Driven Apps using Power Apps.

- Proficiency in Power Automate for business process automation (including approvals, notifications, SharePoint triggers).

Administration & Governance :

- Experience with SharePoint Central Administration - web application management, service applications, and ULS logs.

- Practical knowledge of Search Schema configuration and troubleshooting.

- Familiarity with Taxonomy/Managed Metadata, Content Types, and Information Architecture design.

- Understanding of Microsoft 365 governance, compliance features (Purview, sensitivity labels, retention), and security best practices.

Tools & Ecosystem :

- Azure DevOps / GitHub for source control and CI/CD pipelines (Gulp, Yeoman, webpack).

- Familiarity with Azure services - Entra ID (AAD), Azure Functions, Storage, and App Registrations.

- Microsoft Teams app development and integration experience is a plus.

- Exposure to migration projects using tools like ShareGate, Metalogix, or SPMT.

Good to Have :

- Microsoft Certified : SharePoint, Power Platform, or Azure certifications (PL-900, MS-100, AZ-900 or above).

- Hands-on experience building AI-powered solutions using Microsoft Copilot Studio, Azure OpenAI, or Copilot extensibility within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem.

- Exposure to prototyping and delivering Proof of Concepts (POCs) leveraging SharePoint + AI integrations such as semantic search, document summarization, or intelligent chatbots using Azure AI Services.

- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 Copilot extensibility - including building Copilot agents, plugins, or Graph connectors to surface SharePoint data in AI-driven experiences.
