We are seeking a skilled SAP SD Consultant with 3-5 years of experience and prior exposure to the Steel/Metals industry. The candidate will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting SAP SD (Sales and Distribution) processes tailored to the steel industry's unique requirements.

The role demands strong functional knowledge, end-to-end process expertise, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth business operations.

Key Responsibilities :

- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements specific to steel industry sales and distribution processes.

- Configure and customize SAP SD modules including :

Order-to-Cash (OTC) cycle.
Pricing, discounts, and rebates.
Credit and risk management.
Logistics execution (delivery, shipment, transportation).
Billing and invoicing.

- Handle business processes related to :

- Steel dispatch and transportation management.

- Contract management, bulk orders, and scheduling agreements.

- Steel-specific weighing bridge integrations and delivery documentation.

- Support integration with other SAP modules such as MM, PP, FI, and WM.

- Develop functional specifications for RICEFW (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, Workflows).

- Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT).

- Provide user training, documentation, and post-go-live support.

- Troubleshoot and resolve SAP SD-related incidents and ensure business continuity.

- Work closely with stakeholders and business teams to propose process improvements and automation opportunities.

Required Qualifications and Skills :

- Education : Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related field.

- Experience : 3-5 years of hands-on SAP SD implementation and support experience.

- Industry Knowledge : Prior working experience in the Steel/Metals industry is mandatory.

- Strong understanding of steel industry business processes : pricing strategies, bulk dispatches, freight handling, and export/domestic sales.

- Proficiency in SAP SD configuration and customization.

- Knowledge of SAP integration with MM, PP, FI, and WM modules.

- Ability to create functional specifications for ABAP developments.

- Good problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Strong communication skills to interact with business users and technical teams
