In2IT EBS - SAP HCM Consultant - Support & Implementation

Job Overview :

The ideal candidate will be responsible for solution design, configuration, integration, and support within the SAP HCM landscape, ensuring seamless HR operations aligned with organizational needs and statutory compliance.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop functional specifications for custom developments related to payroll calculations, schemas, rules, and reports.

- Implement and maintain integrations with ESS/MSS through WebDynpro, SAP Portal, or Fiori Apps.

- Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and support UAT cycles for HCM modules.

- Perform schema and PCR modifications for payroll processing and statutory compliance (PF, ESI, PT, IT).

- Provide end-user support, troubleshoot payroll-related issues, and coordinate with ABAP developers for custom enhancements.

- Support system upgrades, patch management, and legal compliance updates.

- Ensure secure data handling and audit compliance across the HCM system.

Technical Skills Required :

- ESS/MSS : Implementation and configuration via SAP Portal/WebDynpro/Fiori

- Technical Proficiency : Payroll schemas (IN00), rules (PCRs), wage types, infotypes, logical databases (PNP/PAP)

- Tools & Technologies : SAP GUI, SAP Fiori Launchpad, SAP NetWeaver, Solution Manager (SolMan)

- Integrations : SAP HR with Finance (FI), Time & Attendance systems, and third-party payroll providers

- Debugging & Troubleshooting : Functional debugging of payroll processes and technical logs

Preferred Qualifications :

- SAP HCM Certification (preferred)

- Exposure to ABAP debugging for functional consultants

- Experience in full lifecycle SAP HCM implementations and support projects

- Prior experience working in public sector or large enterprise environments

Soft Skills :

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management

- Ability to work independently as well as part of a distributed technical team
