About the Role :

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with hands-on experience in Cypress, TypeScript, and test automation frameworks.

You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test solutions to ensure high-quality delivery across web applications.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop, enhance, and maintain automated test scripts using Cypress and TypeScript.

- Build and maintain automation frameworks and reusable components for scalable testing.

- Perform functional, regression, API, and end-to-end testing using automation.

- Collaborate closely with developers, QA, and product teams to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.

- Identify, document, and track defects through resolution.

- Implement best practices in automation, code reviews, and continuous integration.

- Participate in sprint planning, grooming, and Agile ceremonies.

Required Skills :

- 23 years of professional experience in Test Automation.

- Strong hands-on experience using Cypress with TypeScript.

- Good understanding of automation frameworks (POM, Hybrid, Data-driven, or BDD).

- Knowledge of REST API testing using tools like Postman, Cypress API, or similar.

- Experience with version control tools (Git, Bitbucket, etc.

- Experience integrating tests in CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/GitHub Actions/Bitbucket Pipelines).

- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.

Good to Have :

- Experience with testing cloud-based applications.

- Basic knowledge of performance testing concepts.

- Exposure to SCRUM / Agile methodologies.

Education :

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or equivalent experience.

Soft Skills :

- Good communication and collaboration skills.

- Self-driven, proactive, and able to work independently.

- Strong problem-solving approach and attention to detail.
