Role Overview :

We are looking for an Implementation Specialist to join our Professional Services Implementation Centre of Excellence (ICoE) team. This role focuses on delivering seamless post-purchase software implementations, ensuring successful onboarding, configuration, integration, and adoption of enterprise platforms.

The Implementation Specialist works closely with clients to understand business requirements, configure solutions using provided toolsets, support data migration and integration activities, conduct testing, deliver training, and support go-live activities. While this is not a pure development role, a strong understanding of core development principles, data, and system architecture is essential.

You will act as a key point of contact during implementation, collaborating with Project Managers, Implementation Leads, and cross-functional teams to deliver a high-quality, value-driven client experience.

Key Responsibilities :

- Analyze and understand customer requirements and business use cases.

- Engage with clients to reproduce use cases and deliver optimal implementation solutions.

- Install, configure, and customize enterprise applications post-purchase.

- Advise on solution design aligned with product capabilities and industry best practices.

- Upgrade and enhance existing system functionalities as part of ongoing implementations.

- Develop, build, and unit test solution components from detailed low-level designs.

- Participate across the implementation lifecycle including development, deployment, testing, and release management.

- Support data migration, integration, and validation activities.

- Deliver client training sessions and support go-live activities.

- Document configurations, processes, and deliverables accurately.

- Adhere to defined standards, procedures, and quality guidelines.

- Collaborate closely with internal teams and client stakeholders to ensure timely and successful delivery.

- Provide post-implementation support as required.

You Might Be Our Ideal Match If You :

Technical & Functional Skills :

- Have a good understanding of database concepts and data-driven systems.

- Are proficient in SQL / PL-SQL for data analysis and configuration.

- Have experience with at least one scripting language : Shell, Python, or Java.

- Understand J2EE concepts and have experience with application servers.

- Are familiar with Agile methodologies and cross-functional team environments.

- Have exposure to reference data systems or vendors.

- Understand messaging and queuing technologies such as Kafka, MQ, or Solace.

- Are familiar with Git, JIRA, Jenkins, Bamboo, and DevOps processes.

Domain Knowledge & Soft Skills :

- Possess capital markets domain knowledge, including trade lifecycle concepts.

- Hold or are familiar with NCFM / NISM certifications (preferred).

- Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work across diverse stakeholders.

- Are detail-oriented with a strong focus on data quality and accuracy.

- Can manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

- Are comfortable working primarily from the office, with occasional client travel if required.

Education :

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.
