Job Description :
The Implementation Architect is responsible for designing, governing, and overseeing the end-to-end implementation architecture of IAN products and solutions across customer engagements.
The role serves as the primary technical owner for customer implementations, ensuring business requirements are translated into scalable solution designs, workflow configurations, integration architectures, security frameworks, and deployment strategies.
Working closely with Agile Technical Managers, Business Analysts, Configurators, Developers, QA Engineers, DevOps Teams, Product Teams, and customer stakeholders, the Implementation Architect drives successful solution delivery while ensuring alignment with platform standards, security requirements, implementation best practices, and product roadmaps.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead technical discovery workshops, solution design sessions, and implementation planning activities for customer engagements.
- Define solution architecture, configuration frameworks, workflow orchestration, integration patterns, infrastructure requirements, security controls, and data migration approaches.
- Act as the technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) for IAN products, platform capabilities, configuration frameworks, and data models.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts and customer stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and supportable solution designs.
- Define implementation approaches for workflow automation, business rules, forms, integrations, user access management, document processing, and data migration activities.
- Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance to Configurators, Developers, QA Engineers, and Integration Teams throughout the implementation lifecycle.
- Review and troubleshoot configuration, workflow, integration, and application issues through hands-on analysis, debugging, and root cause identification.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams on platform enhancements, upgrades, releases, and roadmap alignment.
- Mentor and guide FEEL, Apache Camel, workflow, and form.io configurators throughout the implementation lifecycle.
- Work closely with DevOps teams on environment provisioning, CI/CD enablement, deployment planning, release management, and production readiness activities.
- Ensure adherence to architecture standards, security controls, governance processes, and implementation best practices.
- Support multiple customer implementations concurrently while maintaining consistency, quality, and delivery standards.
- Participate in customer architecture reviews, design approvals, deployment planning, go-live activities, and production cutovers.
- Contribute to reusable architecture assets, implementation accelerators, standards, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills & Experience :
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
- 12 to 14 years of experience in enterprise software implementation, solution architecture, workflow automation, integration architecture, or digital transformation initiatives.
- Strong experience in the Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance domain; knowledge of Commercial Lines and Specialty Insurance is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures, infrastructure, security principles, and DevOps practices.
- Strong experience with BPMN-based workflow automation and business process orchestration platforms such as Camunda, Flowable, Appian, or similar technologies
- Hands-on experience with JSON, JavaScript, REST APIs, n8n, and enterprise integration concepts.
- Strong understanding of enterprise integrations, APIs, data migration, and cloud based solution deployments.
- Good understanding of FEEL (Friendly Enough Expression Language), decision automation, and business rules management.
