Description :

Were looking for a Technical Product & Engineering Manager to lead CarePal Moneys technology team a blend of engineering leadership and product execution.

This person will own delivery and execution of the core fintech platform while also partnering with business and product leadership to define the roadmap, scope features, and align tech priorities to growth outcomes.

You will manage a cross-functional team of 5 engineers (backend, frontend, QA) and drive both reliability and innovation across the product funnel from loan application to disbursement and automation modules.

Key Responsibilities :

Product Execution :

- Translate business goals into clear technical roadmaps and delivery plans.

- Collaborate closely with the CBO and CPO to define and prioritize product features.

- Structure sprint plans and align tech delivery to business and product OKRs.

- Balance new feature development with platform stability and technical debt reduction.

Engineering Leadership :

- Lead and mentor a team of backend (Python) and frontend (React.js) engineers, along with QA.

- Ensure high code quality, testing discipline, and adherence to CI/CD and deployment best practices.

- Drive architectural decisions for scalability, security, and maintainability.

- Oversee performance optimization, monitoring, and system reliability.

- Manage vendor integrations and third-party API implementations (lenders, payment gateways, etc.)

Delivery & Process :

- Own sprint velocity, release timelines, and production quality.

- Implement agile ceremonies and delivery hygiene (Jira, standups, retros, etc.)

- Coordinate with internal stakeholders (Sales, Partnerships, Operations) to ensure smooth deployments.

Team Building & Culture :

- Hire, onboard, and develop high-performing engineers.

- Establish a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous learning.

Requirements :

- B. Tech/M. Tech in Computer Science or related field (Tier 1 institute preferred).

- 6- 10 years of total experience, including 2- 3 years managing engineering or product delivery teams.

- Hands-on technical grounding in Python (Django/FastAPI) and React.js.

- Proven experience delivering scalable, cloud-based products (AWS).

- Strong familiarity with API-driven integrations, microservices, and DevOps pipelines.

- Experience working in fintech, lending, or transaction-heavy platforms is a plus.

- Demonstrated ability to translate business goals into technical delivery plans.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
