IMCS Group - .Net Developer II - Entity Framework

About the Role :

We are looking for a talented and motivated .NET Developer II to join our software engineering team.

As a mid-level developer, you will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining enterprise-grade web and desktop applications using the Microsoft .NET technology stack.

Youll work on new feature development, system integrations, and performance improvements while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, test, and maintain robust .NET applications using C#, ASP.NET MVC, .NET Core, or .NET 6/7

- Develop and consume RESTful APIs, implement business logic, and manage data access layers

- Write efficient queries and stored procedures for SQL Server or other RDBMS systems

- Participate in full software development lifecycle (SDLC) including requirement analysis, architecture design, coding, testing, and deployment

- Optimize and troubleshoot application performance, scalability, and security issues

- Collaborate with UI/UX teams to integrate server-side logic with front-end components

- Follow agile development methodologies (Scrum or Kanban) and participate in daily standups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives

- Perform unit testing and contribute to automated test frameworks where applicable

- Document technical specifications, system architecture, and process flows

Technical Skills Required :

- 46 years of experience in software development using Microsoft .NET technologies

- Strong command over C#, ASP.NET MVC, and .NET Core / .NET 6+

- Hands-on experience with Entity Framework / EF Core, LINQ, and Dependency Injection

- Good understanding of RESTful API design, JSON, and API documentation tools like Swagger

- Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server, stored procedures, indexing, and query optimization

- Experience with front-end technologies like HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, or React/Angular (optional but preferred)

- Version control using Git or Azure DevOps

- Familiarity with Azure Services, IIS, or CI/CD pipelines is a plus
