Role Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled IFS Cloud Test Engineer to support a greenfield implementation of IFS Cloud ERP.

This role is responsible for defining, executing, and automating comprehensive functional, regression, and performance test strategies to ensure a high-quality, stable, and scalable IFS Cloud platform from implementation through go-live and post-production stabilization.

The ideal candidate has strong experience testing IFS Cloud or similar SaaS ERP platforms, hands-on expertise with test automation tools such as Tricentis Tosca, performance testing using NeoLoad, and proven experience integrating testing activities with qTest and Jira.

This role works closely with functional, technical, and integration teams in an Agile / SAFe delivery environment, ensuring quality is embedded throughout the delivery lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities :

- IFS Cloud Testing Greenfield Focus.

Define and execute an end-to-end test strategy for a greenfield IFS Cloud implementation, including :

- System Integration Testing (SIT)

- User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

- Regression Testing

- Performance and scalability testing

- Cutover and Go-Live Readiness Testing

- Validate IFS Cloud configurations, extensions, integrations, and business processes across development, test, and production-like environments.

- Partner with functional leads and business stakeholders to translate requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria into comprehensive test scenarios.

- Ensure testing aligns with IFS Cloud best practices and remains upgrade-safe.

Test Automation Functional & Regression (Tosca) :

- Design, develop, and maintain automated functional test scripts using Tricentis Tosca for IFS Cloud business processes.

- Build and manage modular, reusable, and data-driven automation frameworks.

- Automate regression test suites to support frequent releases, patches, and IFS Cloud upgrades.

- Integrate Tosca automation execution into CI/CD pipelines, where applicable.

- Analyze automation results, identify failures, and collaborate with development and functional teams to resolve defects efficiently.

Performance Testing & Scalability (NeoLoad) :

- Design and execute performance, load, stress, and scalability tests for IFS Cloud using NeoLoad.

- Identify critical business transactions and end-to-end scenarios for performance testing in collaboration with functional and technical teams.

Analyze performance test results to identify bottlenecks related to :

- Application configuration

- Integrations

- Data volumes

- Concurrent user load

- Provide performance insights and recommendations to support go-live readiness and production stability.

- Support performance validation following IFS Cloud upgrades, patches, and major releases.

Test Management, Jira & qTest Integration :

- Manage test planning, execution, and reporting using qTest.

- Integrate Tosca functional automation and NeoLoad performance results with qTest for end-to-end test traceability.

- Link test cases, executions, and defects to Jira user stories, epics, and defects to ensure full Agile traceability.

Maintain and govern test artifacts, including :

- Test plans and strategies

- Manual and automated test cases

- Test execution cycles

- Defect lifecycle management

- Provide quality metrics and dashboards across qTest and Jira to track coverage, progress, defect trends, and release readiness.

Integration & Data Validation Testing :

Validate integrations between IFS Cloud and external systems, including :

- REST APIs

- Event-based integrations

- Middleware platforms (e.g., MuleSoft)

- Perform end-to-end integration testing to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and reliability.

- Support data migration and data validation testing, including reconciliation, exception handling, and volume validation.

Release, Upgrade & Environment Testing :

- Support testing for IFS Cloud service updates, patches, and major upgrades.

- Perform impact analysis to determine functional, regression, and performance testing scope.

- Coordinate with release management and environment teams to ensure test readiness.

- Support go-live cutover testing and hypercare validation.

Defect Management & Continuous Improvement :

- Log, triage, and manage defects through resolution using Jira, in collaboration with functional, technical, and integration teams.

- Conduct root cause analysis for recurring functional, automation, and performance issues.

Identify opportunities to :

- Increase automation and performance test coverage

- Improve test execution efficiency

- Enhance overall solution quality and stability

- Promote shift-left testing and a quality engineering mindset across the program.

Collaboration & Documentation :

- Work closely with Business Analysts, Developers, Solution Architects, Product Owners, and Release Managers.

- Participate actively in Agile / SAFe ceremonies, including PI Planning, Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.

Maintain comprehensive documentation, including :

- Test strategy and approach

- Automation and performance testing frameworks

- Test execution, defect, and performance reports

- Go-live readiness and sign-off documentation

Required Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in information systems, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.

- 5+ years of ERP testing experience, preferably with IFS Cloud or similar SaaS ERP platforms.

Strong hands-on experience with :

- Tricentis Tosca (functional and regression automation)

- NeoLoad (performance and load testing)

Proven experience integrating :

- Tosca and NeoLoad with qTest

- Test cases and defects with Jira for Agile traceability

Strong understanding of :

- ERP business processes

- SaaS application testing

- Integration, data, and performance testing

- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

- Experience working in Agile or SAFe delivery environments.

- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
