Job Overview:

We are looking for a Salesforce QA Engineer with experience in manual and automation testing to validate the functionality, reliability, and performance of Salesforce applications.

The role involves testing end-to-end business workflows, validating integrations with external systems, and ensuring application quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Salesforce testing, test automation, API validation, and Agile delivery, along with exposure to AI-powered tools for improving QA efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

- Analyze business requirements, functional specifications, and user stories to define test coverage and acceptance criteria for Salesforce applications.

- Prepare and maintain test plans, test scenarios, test cases, automation scripts, and test data.

- Execute functional, UI, regression, and integration testing to validate Salesforce features and business workflows.

- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Worksoft, BrowserStack, or LambdaTest.

- Validate integrations between Salesforce and third-party applications, including ERP platforms and payment systems.

- Perform API testing using tools such as Postman or SoapUI to verify data exchange, response accuracy, and integration reliability.

- Conduct performance and load testing using tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner to assess application responsiveness and scalability.

- Leverage AI-powered tools to support test case generation, test optimization, defect analysis, and other QA activities.

- Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects using project management and issue-tracking tools.

- Perform defect retesting and regression checks to confirm fixes and ensure compliance with acceptance criteria.

- Collaborate with Product Managers, Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers, and other stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve quality issues.

- Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and release validation activities.

- Identify testing risks, define contingency approaches, and contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- 4 - 8 years of experience in software quality assurance, with relevant hands-on experience in Salesforce testing.

- Strong understanding of manual testing methodologies, functional testing, regression testing, and integration testing.

- Experience developing and executing automated tests using Selenium, Worksoft, BrowserStack, or LambdaTest.

- Working knowledge of API testing using Postman or SoapUI.

- Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner.

- Ability to design effective test cases, manage test data, and maintain test documentation.

- Familiarity with defect lifecycle management and issue-tracking tools.

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

- Exposure to AI tools for QA and test automation activities.

- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience validating complex Salesforce business workflows and third-party integrations.

- Understanding of test automation strategy and QA process optimization.

- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage testing activities within sprint timelines.
