UI/UX Design Lead - ICICI Lombard

Responsibilities :

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders, to gain insights into user needs, business goals, and market trends within the Insurtech industry.

- Act as a strategic partner, spearheading the development of UX and UI design strategies and roadmaps that prioritize a seamless and user-centric digital experience, aligning with ICICI Lombard's business objectives and evolving customer needs.

- Conduct user research, testing, and gather feedback to inform design decisions and continuously enhance the user experience.

- Transform complex insurance concepts into intuitive and user-friendly interfaces, ensuring consistency and coherence in the visual language across digital touchpoints.

- Create wireframes, prototypes, and interactive designs to effectively communicate design concepts and user flows.

- Collaborate closely with developers to ensure successful implementation of designs, taking into consideration technical limitations and platform requirements.

- Stay abreast of industry best practices, emerging design trends, and relevant technologies in the Insurtech and digital insurance landscape.

- Lead and mentor a team of designers, providing guidance, feedback, and support to foster their professional growth and maintain design excellence.

- Advocate for user-centered design principles, emphasizing usability, accessibility, and overall user satisfaction in all design deliverables.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to establish and maintain design systems, pattern libraries, and style guides, promoting consistency and streamlining design workflows.

Requirements :

- Demonstrated 8-10 years of leadership in UX/UI design.

- Deep understanding of design trends, customer journey mapping, and user-centered design methodologies.

- Proficient in popular design tools such as Figma, Sketch, InVision, Miro, XMind, Moqups or similar software.

- Strong knowledge of responsive design principles and experience designing for web and mobile platforms (iOS and Android).

- Effective communication skills to articulate design concepts, share user research findings, and explain design rationale to stakeholders at all organizational levels.

- Experience conducting user research activities, including interviews, usability testing, and surveys, to gather insights and validate design decisions.

- Familiarity with agile development processes and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in an agile environment.

- Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a passion for mentoring and developing designers.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and a strategic mindset, with attention to detail.

- A portfolio that showcases your design expertise, highlighting user-centered design solutions and digital products you have contributed to.

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a design-related field or equivalent practical experience.
