IBM Sterling File Gateway Administrator

About the Role :

We are hiring an experienced IBM Sterling File Gateway Administrator to oversee the installation, configuration, and management of IBM Sterling File Gateway, Integrator, and related components. The ideal candidate will ensure the reliability and security of Managed File Transfer (MFT) operations while supporting enterprise integration and automation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities :

- Administer, install, and upgrade IBM Sterling File Gateway, Integrator, Global Mailbox, and Control Center components.

- Manage and monitor end-to-end MFT environments, ensuring seamless file transfers and system uptime.

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Sterling components, workflows, and network connectivity.

- Implement automation and optimization strategies to improve system performance.

- Collaborate with IT and business teams to define file transfer requirements and onboard partners.

- Maintain documentation and adhere to security and compliance standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 48 years of experience in administering IBM Sterling File Gateway and related tools.

- Strong hands-on experience in installation, upgrade, configuration, and troubleshooting of Sterling components.

- Solid understanding of MFT protocols (SFTP, FTPS, HTTPS, AS2).

- Knowledge of system integration and secure data exchange best practices.

- Experience with Linux/Windows servers and basic network administration.

- Strong analytical and communication skills.
