IBM Server & Storage Engineer - NAS/SAN Devices

Responsibilities :

- Provide storage provisioning for NAS, CAS, and SAN systems, ensuring efficient allocation of storage resources.

- Provide Level 3 support and expertise for DAS, SAN, and NAS environments, including configuration and administration.

- Implement, maintain, and monitor performance tuning and upgrades for the attached storage (NAS) environment.

- Perform storage array and NAS performance tuning to optimize system efficiency.

- Administer and maintain IBM servers.

- Support and maintain IBM DataStage and IBM BPM environments.

- Perform Linux system administration tasks.

- Provide support for Oracle databases.

- Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.

- Collaborate with other IT teams to resolve complex technical issues.

- Participate in on-call rotation as needed.

Qualifications :

- Proven experience in systems administration, with a focus on IBM server and storage technologies.

- Hands-on experience with NAS and SAN storage systems.

- Strong understanding of storage provisioning, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.

- Experience with IBM servers and related hardware.

- Familiarity with IBM DataStage and IBM BPM.

- Proficiency in Linux system administration.

- Experience with Oracle databases.

- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills
