IBM RIT Tester

Experience - 3 to 15 years

Location - Bangalore, Chennai and Hyderabad [Anywhere in India]

Remote working option is available

Required Skills :

- Middleware knowledge(MQ/TIBCO/SOA)

- Worked on IBM RIT Automation and Manual Testing skills

- Knowledge on SWIFT Standards and ISO -20022 standards

- Hands on JMeter and jconsole will be added advantage

- Basic skills on Unix and DB (SQL) Jira, GIT, Jenkins Agile methodologies

Key Responsibilities :

- Test Execution : Running automated tests, simulating external dependencies, and verifying the results.

- Integration Testing : Validating the interaction and interoperability of software components.

- Service Virtualization : Simulating the behavior of system components to enable testing even when dependencies are unavailable.

- Contract Testing : Defining and validating contracts for APIs to ensure consumer and producer compatibility.

- Reporting and Analysis : Capturing and reporting test results for analysis and troubleshooting.

- Collaboration : Working with development teams to integrate testing into the software development lifecycle.

- Continuous Integration : Contributing to continuous integration efforts using RIT.

Key Skills and Experience :

- IBM Rational Integration Tester (RIT) : Proficiency in using RIT for test automation and virtualization.

- API Testing : Understanding of REST and other API protocols.

- Messaging Protocols : Experience with various messaging solutions (e.g., JMS, MQ).

- Scripting (Optional) : While RIT is known for its scripting-free environment, some experience with scripting languages like JavaScript can be helpful.

- SOA and Microservices : Understanding of Service-Oriented Architecture and microservices concepts.

- Communication and Collaboration : Strong communication and teamwork skills.

- Analytical Skills : Ability to analyze test results and identify issues.

- Problem-solving : Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to integration testing.
