Job Title : IBM Datacap Developer

Experience : 5 to 8 Years

Location : Bangalore

Shift Timing : 1:00 PM 10:00 PM IST

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and implement solutions using IBM Data cap v9.0 or v8.1.

- Install and configure IBM Data cap components in new customer environments.

- Develop, enhance, and maintain capture solutions using IBM Data cap Studio.

- Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver robust imaging/OCR workflows.

- Write custom scripts using VB, VBScript, VBA, or .NET technologies to extend Datacap functionality.

- Integrate Datacap solutions with databases such as SQL Server.

- Conduct unit testing, deployment, and troubleshooting of Datacap applications.

- Collaborate with QA and infrastructure teams to ensure successful solution delivery.

Technical Skills :

- Must have hands-on experience with IBM Data cap v9.0 or v8.1.

- Proficient in SQL Server 2008R2/2014 or equivalent database systems.

- Programming knowledge in Java, ASP.NET, .NET (C#), VBScript, VBA, and PL/SQL.

- Experience in OCR/ICR/OMR technologies and imaging solutions is highly desirable.

- Familiarity with SQL and query optimization.

Preferred Qualifications :

- IBM Data cap certification is a plus.

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

- Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.
