We are looking for a skilled and motivated IBM Cloud Developer to join our cloud engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable applications on IBM Cloud using various services such as Cloud Foundry, Kubernetes, IBM Cloud Functions, and IBM Watson services.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with cloud-native development, DevOps practices, and a strong understanding of IBM Clouds platform-as-a-service (PaaS) and infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS) offerings.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and develop cloud-native applications using IBM Cloud services, including Cloud Foundry, Code Engine, Functions, and Kubernetes (IKS).

- Build and integrate RESTful APIs, microservices, and serverless functions to support business logic.

- Utilize IBM Watson services (e.g., Watson Assistant, Watson NLP, Watson Machine Learning) for intelligent application features.

- Implement CI/CD pipelines using IBM Cloud Continuous Delivery, Tekton, or Jenkins.

- Work with DevOps tools to manage infrastructure as code, deployment automation, and cloud monitoring.

- Ensure applications are secure, scalable, and highly available within the IBM Cloud environment.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including front-end developers, DevOps engineers, and product managers.

- Monitor and troubleshoot production workloads using IBM Cloud Monitoring and Logging tools.

- Stay up-to-date with IBM Cloud innovations and best practices.

Required Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- 3+ years of experience in cloud application development.

- Strong hands-on experience with IBM Cloud services, including Cloud Foundry, Kubernetes (IKS), Cloud Functions, and Object Storage.

- Proficiency in at least one programming language: Java, Python, Node.js, or Go.

- Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration using IKS.

- Experience with IBM Watson APIs or other AI services on IBM Cloud.

- Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD, and Git-based workflows.

- Good understanding of cloud security, IAM, and access control.

Preferred Qualifications :

- IBM Cloud certifications (e.g., IBM Certified Application Developer Cloud Platform v4).

- Experience with IBM Cloud CLI, IBM Cloud Schematics (Terraform), and IBM Cloud Satellite.

- Familiarity with OpenShift on IBM Cloud (ROKS).

- Exposure to enterprise integration patterns using IBM services like App Connect or MQ.

- Understanding of hybrid cloud environments and secure data connectivity.
