Experience : 10+ - 20 years of IT experience

Work Mode : Hybrid (10 days WFO in a month)

Job Description :

We are seeking an experienced IBM BPM Architect with a strong background in designing, managing, and optimizing IBM BPM, FileNet, and BAW Case Manager platforms.

The ideal candidate will lead platform administration, upgrades, and troubleshooting across complex infrastructures, including mainframe and Linux environments.

This role involves ensuring the scalability, security, and performance of the architecture while driving innovation and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities :

Architectural Leadership :

- Lead the design and implementation of IBM BPM, FileNet, and BAW Case Manager infrastructures, ensuring alignment with business and technical standards.

- Oversee platform architecture and provide strategic guidance on system enhancements, migrations, and integrations.

Platform Management & Administration :

- Administer and manage IBM BPM, FileNet, and BAW platforms, ensuring high availability, performance, and reliability.

- Take full ownership of the IBM BPM platform and its infrastructure, ensuring stability and smooth operation.

Infrastructure Operations :

- Manage Linux servers (RHEL 8/9) and virtual machines, ensuring security and performance optimization.

- Lead the seamless upgrade and migration of FileNet, IBM BPM, and BAW environments, minimising downtime and preserving data integrity.

Troubleshooting & Problem Resolution :

- Diagnose and resolve complex issues in IBM BPM, FileNet, and BAW environments, implementing long-term solutions.

- Investigate root causes of technical issues, particularly within BAW environments, to ensure platform stability.

Cloud & Containerization :

- Leverage OpenShift for managing containerized applications and improving platform scalability.

- Utilize AWS services as needed to enhance platform capabilities and support disaster recovery planning.

Mainframe & Database Management :

- Apply mainframe expertise to integrate and manage BPM workflows in legacy systems.

- Administer and manage SQL Server databases, ensuring performance, security, and data integrity.

Service Management :

- Manage incidents, changes, and problems using ServiceNow, adhering to ITIL best practices to minimize disruptions.

- Coordinate with vendors for third-party solutions and support, ensuring timely issue resolution.

Security & Compliance :

- Identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards.

- Implement security best practices across all platforms to safeguard data and systems.

Collaboration & Communication :

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, security, and operations, to deliver integrated and scalable solutions.

- Communicate complex technical concepts effectively to stakeholders, fostering alignment and understanding.

Requirements :

Key Requirements :

Experience :

- 8+years of hands-on experience with IBM BPM, FileNet, BAW Case Manager, and Workflow systems.

- Proven experience in managing, administering, and troubleshooting IBM BPM platforms and related infrastructure.

- Strong hands-on experience with Linux servers (RHEL 8/9) and virtual machines in production environments.

- Extensive experience in performing seamless upgrades and migrations of IBM BPM, FileNet, and BAW platforms

Technical Skills :

- BPMN : Expertise in IBM BPM.

- Languages : Proficiency in JavaScript, CSS, Java (versions 8/11/17), SQL.

- Databases : Experience with MS SQL, MySQL, MongoDB.

- Java Frameworks : Expertise in Spring Boot.

- ORM Frameworks : Strong knowledge of Hibernate.

- Version Control : Proficiency in Git.

- Cloud Platforms : Experience with cloud platforms, preferably PaaS.

- DevOps Tools : Experience with Azure DevOps or AWS.

- Containerization : Experience with Docker.

- Messaging Queue : Familiarity with RabbitMQ, IBM MQ, or Kafka.

- Operating Systems : Experience with both Windows and Linux.

- Monitoring & Alerting : Knowledge of ELK, Grafana, Prometheus.

- Architecture : Expertise in Microservices architecture.

Soft Skills :

- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving technical issues.

- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams.

- Demonstrated ability to take ownership of projects and drive them independently.

Preferred Certifications :

- Certifications in IBM BPM, FileNet, or related technologies.

- Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) or equivalent certification
