Key Responsibilities :

- Mainframe Application Development : Design, develop, and maintain high-performance mainframe applications using the Natural programming language.

- Database Interaction : Work extensively with the Adabas database, ensuring efficient data retrieval, manipulation, and integrity.

- System Programming : Utilize JCL (Job Control Language) for batch processing and manage data using VSAM (Virtual Storage Access Method).

- Troubleshooting & Debugging : Perform in-depth unit testing, debugging, and performance tuning of mainframe applications to ensure optimal functionality and efficiency.

- Technical Documentation : Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for developed solutions, processes, and system configurations.

- Collaboration : Work effectively with other developers, system administrators, and business analysts to understand requirements, resolve issues, and deliver robust solutions.

- System Environment : Leverage your good understanding of IBM Mainframe (z/OS) environments to contribute to system stability and efficiency.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Mainframe development.

- Strong proficiency in Natural programming language.

- Experience working with Adabas database.

- Proficient in JCL, VSAM, and batch/online processing.

- Familiarity with tools like PREDICT, SPoD, or EntireX is a plus.

- Good understanding of IBM Mainframe (z/OS) environments.

- Experience in unit testing, debugging, and performance tuning of mainframe applications.

- Ability to create and maintain technical documentation.
