As we expand our AI-driven, integration-first commerce engineering teams in India, we are seeking passionate technical leaders who can architect, build, and optimize enterprise-grade Shopify ecosystems connected to ERP platforms.

Position Overview :

We are looking for a highly experienced Technical Lead Shopify Plus & ERP Integrations to lead multiple Shopify (Plus) development, integration, and enhancement projects.

This is a senior technical leadership role requiring deep expertise in Shopify, custom app development, ERP data flows, and cross-functional solution delivery.

You will serve as the primary technical authority for ShopifyERP integrations (preferably NetSuite), lead a team of developers, engage directly with clients, solve complex technical challenges, and ensure high-quality, scalable, and secure eCommerce solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

Shopify / Shopify Plus Development :

- Lead architectural design and end-to-end implementation for Shopify/Shopify Plus projects.

- Customize themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and Shopify storefront components.

- Build and maintain custom Shopify apps using Node.js/PHP.

- Troubleshoot production issues, analyze root causes, and provide timely resolutions.

- Ensure best practices across performance, SEO, accessibility, UX, and mobile responsiveness.

ShopifyERP Integrations (Preferred: NetSuite) :

- Lead integrations between Shopify and ERP platforms using REST/GraphQL APIs and Webhooks.

- Deep understanding of ERPShopify data flows such as :

1. Product sync (items, pricing, inventory)

2. Customer sync

3. Order sync

4. Fulfillment updates

5. Inventory availability

- Diagnose integration errors, analyze API payloads, logs, and mapping issues.

- Collaborate closely with ERP teams (NetSuite preferred) to define mapping, fields, and transformation logic.

- Architect scalable integration workflows and automate sync processes.

Client Engagement & Stakeholder Communication :

- Serve as the primary technical point of contact for clients.

- Participate in requirement discovery, workshops, sprint demos, and UAT discussions.

- Translate complex technical concepts into simple, client-friendly language.

- Maintain transparency on timelines, risks, dependencies, and technical decisions.

Technical Leadership & Delivery Ownership :

- Lead solution design, estimation, sprint planning, and execution.

- Guide and mentor developers across Shopify, ERP, and integration modules.

- Conduct code reviews and enforce coding standards and performance benchmarks.

- Manage multiple concurrent projects (enhancements + support).

- Drive issue prioritization, ensure timely delivery, and maintain high-quality output.

Functional & Domain Expertise :

- Strong understanding of eCommerce workflows :

1. Checkout, payments, refunds

2. Catalog, inventory, and product management

3. Promotions, discounts, order lifecycle

- Functional understanding of ERP processes (preferably NetSuite) :

1. Items, customers, orders, inventory

- Prepare technical documentation, integration flows, SOPs, and architecture diagrams.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 8+ years of experience in web/eCommerce development.

- 4+ years hands-on experience with Shopify/Shopify Plus.

- Strong expertise in :

1. Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery

2. Shopify app development (Node.js / PHP)

3. REST APIs, GraphQL, Webhooks

- Prior experience integrating Shopify with ERP systems

Preferred : NetSuite

Nice to have :

- Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, or others

- Ability to troubleshoot API failures, mapping issues, data discrepancies.

- Strong communication and client-facing skills.

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

- Leadership experience : mentoring, guiding developers, managing delivery.

Good to Have :

- Experience with middleware platforms: Celigo, Boomi, Mulesoft, Patchworks, etc.

- Understanding of NetSuite SuiteScript 2.x.

- Experience in AWS/Lambda for serverless app or integration development.

- Exposure to storefront optimization and eCommerce analytics.
